You know? I was thinking the same. There should be a simple clear button and the copy/clear. However, for now, you can erase your practice by just running your finger to the left and not picking it up. Eventually you will erase what you have written. BTW, it makes a sound as if you were rewinding an audible file or a tape, (now gosh what is a tape I hear from the younger folks). Reggie
