The iWork apps were updated today and mentioned a fix that prevented proper editing and navigation with VoiceOver. I have been playing around with Pages, and am very pleased to report that the longstanding issue has been fixed where it was rarely possible to move through a document by line when using VoiceOver. I haven’t played with Numbers or Keynote yet, but am quite happy with the update to Pages. This means Microsoft Word, Pages, and Google Docs should now all be viable, accessible document editors for VoiceOver users. I’ve settled on Google Docs and Google Drive for the past few months, but may give Pages a go now that editing seems to work properly.
