I ran in to a symoler problem. I would get the text message. Then after that I would either tap the notification and then swipe down to bring down the text field to reply to the message. Then I would type the message. Then usually the send button would be there for me to send the message but now that I do it it's not so I have to switch to the messages app. Then I had to find the message that I was replying to and then choose send.
