Thanks for this additional tip. I agree that the Fleksy Keyboard can be
inconsistent. I'm particularly finding that even though what I've typed has
been entered correctly, VoiceOver sometimes doesn't announce what is
displayed. When I place focus on the text area for the words to be read
back, they are correct but that last word that I'm checking is not what
VoiceOver read. I'm also getting inconsistent results with contractions.

Fleksy VO was absolutely the best at consistently getting the right word
from my keystrokes and working extremely well with VoiceOver.

Alan

Also, if you flick up from the bottom right-hand corner of the keypad, it
works like an enter key. Good for entering blank lines, and also for doing
anything that you would hit and enter key for a normal keypad.
I find the fleksy app a little sporadic to use. Sometimes it works great
but, and other times it seems to put in gibberish and only the second
selection is the one that you actually typed in. I complain to fleksy about
this, they blame it on auto correct, but I have AutoCorrect turned off.
I agree with you, the fleksy VO version was absolutely the best. I still use
it sometimes when I have to type a long email.

the spacebar keyboard in order to insert capital letters and numbers. There
is a shift key in the lower left-hand side of the minimal keyboard which
will allow you to use capital letters. If you touch the shift key and then
do a flick right you will get numbers and symbols.
