Hello Neal,

Of course, I can only comment based on my own experience but as far as I am
aware, the iTunes Library is not 64-bit or 32-bit dependent.

I frequently access the same iTunes Library from both a 64-bit version of
iTunes for Windows and a 32-bit version of iTunes for Windows with no problems.
whatsoever.

Just make certain you have a good backup of your Library, including the
iTunes.itl, iTunes .xml files along with all of their accompanying files and
you should be good to go.

Were I you, I would test the backup Library before proceeding with any OS or
Software upgrades.

Subject: iTunes question about using 32 bit or 64 bit download for windows

Hi, Do any of you who have 64 bit Windows systems use the 64 bit version of
iTunes? I ask because I have been using the 32 bit version in Windows 7 with no
problem. But I need to download to Windows 10. I know, you may not have an
answer for what Windows 10 takes, but I can’t even find a 32 bit download on
Apple, perhaps because it knows what system I am running.
My problem is, I want to move my library to the new computer. So, if I download
a 64 bit version and try to merge a library from a 32 bit version, I am not
sure if it will work.
Any comments on using 32 or 64 bit will be appreciated.

Neal
