I just got around to updating my fifth generation ipod touch to IOS 8.4. And now I have a major problem.
The most significant problem I have found thus far is that I am no longer able to move between pages by swiping up and down on the iPod screen. Nor can I do so using the Amazon Basics blue tooth keyboard. When updating an app, I noted that I was not able to double tap the update button. I ultimately got around this by rebooting. However, my inability to switch between my four pages of apps is unchanged. What is interesting is that when on page one, if I double tapped the page number rather than swiped, it would ascend to the next page. However, when I got to the last page which is page four on this iPod, it stuck at page 4. I could however get back to page one by using Siri to open an app such as messages on page 1. Also, rebooting took me back to page 1. I am truly at a loss as to what to do now because this problem renders the device virtually useless. Ideas please! Thanks.
