Maria, I'm currently using the standard twitter app. The layout is far from intuitive, but functions you're looking for are there. Across the bottom of the screen are 4 tabs. You can view your mentions by selecting the tab called connect. Direct messages and profile settings are under the tab called me. There's also a tab labelled discover, but I haven't scoped out its possibilities yet. Hope this helps until you find a different client, Michelle
