No, I don't recall Terry'spost, but I think we're saying the same thing. The iPhone switches to a trickle charge when the battery is getting close to being fully charged to protect the battery. Like I said, this is why you won't always see your battery charge to 100%.

Hi all, Christopher Chaltain, please correct me if I'm wrong but are you
saying the opposite to what terry said. That it isn't safe to leave it on
charge because that the triple charge would damage the battery.

No, most chargers switch to a trickle charge once the battery gets close to
being fully charged. This is why you may only see the battery reach 99% charged
and not always get to 100%. Lithium ion batteries like to be used and like to
be recharged.

Hi all, recently I have been using my docking station a lot more for my audio
needs for iPhone and iPad. The question is that if I'm putting my devices on
charge all the time, an I putting strain on there batteries when they reach 100
percent and stay at that level for long periods?
Any advice as to weather this is good or bad for the battery would be
mosappreciated.

Many thanked
