Hi, I haven’t had it include music but I can reproduce the bug consistently at will both inside and outside of the app so I did dutifully report it. I haven't downloaded a book long enough to mirror your experience in recent days but I agree there are some issues with this version. That’s why I felt justified in reporting my bug since I could absolutely reproduce it at will on command. Robin

It happened a few times now that I wanted to stop my Audible book, but instead music started playing over top of the book being read. A second 2-finger double tap then stopped the music and I had to open the Audible app and double tap the Pause button since the Audible controls at that point had also disappeared from the lock screen. Usually after I open the app and stop the book, I can then again use the 2-finger double tap. It hasn’t been happening enough for me to consider it a major annoyance, but I assume it’s just another thing Audible messed up in the last update. I really wish they’d fix Audible so it was as good as in the last 2.4.x version. I still sometimes have all books disappear on me in my list of downloaded books in which case I have to remove the app from the app switcher and then they usually are back once I reopen the app, but while it’s a working app, it’s not that good. I also often find that my books download painfully slow. I will maybe post something about that separately as I am curious if others experience this. It seems to happen especially with longer books, those which are over 200 or 250 Mb in download size and it’s pretty consistant on my iPhone or even if I try to download to my PC using the Audible Manager. Sometimes switching to 3G will download faster than WiFi, but while I share 9 Gb of data with a total of 3 people on a shared plan, I still feel my books should download just as fast or faster via my 35 Mb/s download connection. I recently was in Vancouver and had LTE there which Speedtest.net told me gave me well over 80 Mb/S down and almost 40 Mb/s up and I thought I have some fun and see a book download super fast. I started a 430 Mb download from the Audible app, it poured in about 15 Mb in a second or two, then it stopped and it started going up to 15.1 Mb, 15.2 Mb, 15.3 Mb and so on and each .1 increase took like a minute and it would have taken about 12 or 15 hours at that speed to download the book which should have downloaded in 2 or 3 minutes max. I find it very frustrating and recently asked Audible support to escalate this. I received an email from a higher level of support, replied to their questions and am now waiting for their reply. I’m noticing that since the most recent update that the two finger double tap to start and stop audio playback is now behaving inconsistently. On rare occasions it behaves as one would expect I.E. starting and stopping audio playback. But more times than not it is doing nothing. Has anyone else observed or can anyone else reproduce this behavior? Thanks in advance for your help as always. Robin -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
