For me, it became important a long time ago to find a combination of products that would work on iOS and either the Mac or Windows (preferably both) to make my RSS reading seamless and efficient.
Unfortunately, I have not found that/those products quite yet. However, I am currently using Lire for iOS and ReadKit for the Mac to make RSS reading at least viable and efficient on iOS and Mac OS X while relying on the Feedly service. This seems to be rather an ongoing search for solutions where the answers change at least every year if not more often for me. I still don't have a Windows solution that works well in this scenario. So I have abandoned Windows for RSS at this point. I am always alert to new possibilities as long as the RSS protocol remains viable.
