Hi Krister, Yes, native Airplay support would be nice. When you mention an outdoor speaker, do you mean a water-resistant one or one that runs on batteries? Otherwise I certainly don't find it difficult to plug in my Play 5 on my deck, I have a couple of extra cables (they are just standard cables you can buy at any electronics store) so I have one in my woodworking shop and one on my deck and I just unplug the speaker in the living room and leave the cable behind and take it where I want it. I actually really hope that the next piece of Sonos hardware will be either a high-end stand-alone headset or a small headset amplifier with a rechargeable battery which you can clip on your belt and plug in any standard headset you want from Earpods to whatever high-quality headset you want to buy.
