Apologies if this is not of interest to you. I have recently written a blog post concerning the Microsoft Office iOS apps which are available. It is possible to use the said apps with OneDrive on your desktop. Therefore, you can start a document or spreadsheet on your iDevice, and finish it later on your desktop if desired.
