The cost of the book reading attachment will be roughly $25 and the whole set with the stand about $35.
I will start a kickstarter project for the attachment and keep it going for about 30 days to gage if there is sufficient interest in developing a product
like this. I am thinking that if I find 100 to 150 people interested in the book reader by the end of 30 days I will go ahead and manufacture the first
1000. However, if I see a higher number of people interested in the first few days of the project on kickstarter then I will prepare for manufacturing
right away and not wait till the end of the 30 days.
I hope you understand my preparations, because jumping into a costly manufacturing process without checking if the product is going to sell would be difficult
to explain to my wife, again ;).
