Not so for me. Here is what I do: 1. Go to the My Music tab 2. Set it to display Genres (or artists if you want) 3. Find the Genre or Artist you want to play, swipe up with one finger or down twice (action rotor is active here) and when you come to "Play", double tap it 4. Once music starts playing, open the Now Playing screen (the mini player) which is in the middle above the home button, find the Shuffle button towards the bottom right and turn it on. Note that once it is turned on it will stay on until you turn it off again and it will say "Shuffle, songs". Also, you can now double tap on the "Up Next" button and see the tracks which are going to play, beside each one is a "Reorder" button so if you see a song 5 songs down which you want to hear next you can double tap and hold on that and drag it up.

If I choose genre I want it to play all the songs in that genre. that is what it isn't doing.
