Has anyone tried e-depositing checks by using one of the stands with a banking app? Thankfully, I don't get checks very often to justify the hastle of switching banks to one with branches here. I've tried the desktop scanner method and uploaded the front and back jpeg's, but those reject with a generic error, and the bank can't see what happened, but the very same checks took when I got sighted help to fiddle with the photography. If the iPhone stand isn't the best way to do a capture like this, what scanner that is physically small in size would give me what the bank's systems want to see to be able to revisit the scan and upload files method? My dad was unable to see why the scanned version shouldn't have taken, so it is likely some minor detail that the iPhone camera is able to overcome.
