I wrote an AppleVis review in 2014 for an app called QuarKode

I updated the review with a comment last December when a helpful
feature stopped working. But, I still find the app extremely useful
and depend on it for reading QR codes I use at work.
As for creating QR codes, I have never tried using an iOS app for
this. Instead, I use the Digit-Eyes website. Since I have purchaed
the Digit-Eyes app I dont' know if the QR code creation process is
available to anyone or not. One does need to create an account for
the site. I both print on labels and on plain paper using the
label-making process for picking the page location when printed.
