Compare a couple dollars for the pro app and $96 dollars per year and you have your answer.
They are providing a ton of audio books that are likely not public domain so they are having to pay for them, plus the MLB fees, so I understand why they charge for the features. I personally don’t think it is worth it. I can buy MLB at Bat for $19.99. I can buy my own books from audible and I pretty much don’t buy nearly $96.00’ orth or $76.00 worth if you subtract the MLB price. At least not since Voice Dream Reader has gotten so good and Bookshare has such a huge collection, not to mention BARD from NLS for those in the United States.
