After reading this email I went and downloaded the latest version and tried it again. It is still doing the same thing. It said it was simulating from the inputted address but the distances and cardinal directions are from where I am currently located.
I did put my initial question out on the BS list last night, but so far haven’t gotten any responces. So I put my question out here and sure enough got responces back fairly quickly. This list is awesome like that! ☺ I’ll keep playing with it and see if I can think of anything different to try. Thanks for the help! I don’t use that feature a lot but when I last did it seemed to work fine. You simulate your location, then search for the new place. That works for me. I found it exactly where you said it would be. I have another question and that is it seems a little confusing because it seems like it is looking for places around the neighborhood I asked for but is still orienting from where I am currently at. I think that is what is happening. I’m not sure about the distances it is saying but for example. It is telling me about places that I know are west and south west from here and wouldn’t be to the west or south west from the location I asked it to simulate so I can’t tell how far they are from the place I want it to simulate from. The places it is telling me about are south and south east from the place I want it to simulate from. Have you experienced this? Is there something else I need to do?
