The University of Texas, with it's own television network, is the wealthiest college sports program in the country. I doubt that has anything to do with whether they stream their broadcasts for free or not though. The NFL is the wealthiest professional sports league and their streaming broadcasts aren't free.

I do agree though, it’s all a ploy to get more money from customers, but
I’m happy to pay for the service if it does exactly what it says it
does, with little or no accessibility, which both the NFL and MLB do.

    HMMMMM!  What I would of expected from them.  So it'll get swept
    under the rug.  I'm getting the impression the NFL has more money
    then they know what to do with and the needs of the blind are
    very far down on their list of priorities.  They just couldn't
    leave well enough alone with audio pass.  I paid $40 last season
    for Audio Pass and I didn't even have a problem very much if they
    jacked up the price or even doubled it to $80.  Try buying a
    ticket to any NFL game but it isn't for the faint of heart. LOL!
     Do you get the impression I'm not happy with the NFL right now?
     They have my hundred bucks and I still can't listen to games,.
