I used and app called iExit on our last car trip. It lets you explore what
is at exits on the interstates. It was a bit frustrating at times with the
voice over but I was able to use it. For instance I searched for Chick
Fil-a and discovered there was one at the very next exit. Then I got the
driving directions to it. I need to write to the developer since it did
close on me several times which was frustrating but I am using IOS 7 on an
iPhone 5.
The app is free so give it a try.

This week I am taking a road trip between Ohio and Georgia. I wonder if

I once heard of an app that, of course, I can't recall right now, which
tells you of interesting, strange, or weird places nearby as
you drive. I am thinking of something along those lines, as opposed to GPS
maps, etc.
I am going from Central Ohio to Savannah Georgia, which takes me through
Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina. If anyone has any
