If you currently have a passcode and want to disable tis, unlock your phone, got to Settings > Touch Id and Passcode (if you have anything older than a 5S you will only have "Passcode" since Touch Id was first available with the 5S), double tap on that option and enter your passcode. Once you do that you can turn Passcode off.
