Interesting. I have iOS 9 on my iPhone 5 and the app switcher works the same as
it did in 8. The next item slides right under my finger and all I have to do is
tap. Now, I don't always start with the left most item, and perhaps there is a
problem there. But I really don't care which one I delete first, so I just tap
on one and then they all work as before.

Yes, and unfortunately right now at least if you take for example the left most
app and flick down to close it and then put your finger on it and split tap,
Voiceover does not announce the next app as it slides over and under your
finger. In previous iOS versions I could very quickly close a lot of apps that
way and still know which one I was closing. If you flick down and double tap
Voiceover will announce the next app but not the other way.

Has anyone else noticed that the App Switcher is reversed under iOS 9? 9?
In iOS 8.x, when I brought up the app switcher on my 5s the icon for the home
screen was on the left, and I would flick right with one finger to go through
the apps.
Now, the Home icon is on the right, and I have to flick left with one finger to
go through the apps. No big deal, just different.
