I am also planning to get the 6S but how do you know that the Hey Siri will
work with earphones or blue tooth headsets? I don't know if these items have
the mic always engaged.
Just wondering. Hope you are right.

As Christopher pointed out, if the phone is constantly on alert to listen to
Hey SIRI, it puts a lot of drain on the battery. Aple has apparently solved
this problem with the new 6S and 6S Plus hardware where Hey SIRI is
available all the time. I actually really look forward to that and it is one
feature which made me decide to upgrade my 5S to a 6S because I do live in
northern BC where it can get pretty cold in the winter and if I can wear a
wired or bluetooth headset and just say "Hey SIRI" to wake up SIRI while I
am out and about, then that is definitely a good thing when my iPhone is
under my coat and I am wearing gloves.
