Hey all,

After using IOS 9 for a few days here are a couple of bugs I have noticed that
I have yet to see mentioned. If anyone has figured out any work around please
let us know.

1. Heading Navigation is gone in some apps
For example if you use grub hub the ability to quickly flick from food headings
like salads to pizza slices is gone, you have to flick through every menu item
which is a giant pain as some menus have hundreds of items. Also in Newsify
there used to be dates for your feeds when viewing folders and you could
quickly flick from day to day using heading navigation, the dates seem to be
completely gone and you just have a very long list of articles. Since neither
grub hub nor Newsify have released an IOS 9 update not sure if this is an Apple
error or app specific.

2. VO loses focus in long lists.

For example in Newsify if you have been flicking through articles and you go in
to read an article when going back to your article list instead of being where
you have flicked down to you are taken back to the very top of the list. I have
also noticed this same behavior in Downcast if you are in a long list of
podcasts and you go to listen to a podcast instead of being taken back to where
you were in the list you are taken to the top of the list. Again not a deal
breaker but quite frustrating, and pretty sure this is yet another Apple issue.

I knew what I was getting in to when installing IOS 9, and for me it was worth
it as Siri and dictation did not work half the time for me in IOS 8 , and I
thought it was a damaged home button but IOS 9 seems to have fixed that issue
for me. Not even two factory resets in IOS 8 nor the genius bar could fix that
issue, so nice that IOS 9 has.

But, the fact that Apple promoted IOS 9 as a big release that was focused on
quality control, they really did once again drop the ball in a lot of areas for
VoiceOVer users, and yes, i do realize that VoiceOVer users are a very very
small percentage of iPhone users, and I guess we are just going to have to get
used to having serious to minor bugs in all IOS releases.
