Hi Paula, I am posting this to the list in case somebody else is interested in the information, but also CC you directly.
When you first open Walklog I assume that just as for me, the Log tab is selected and that you have an "Edit" button at the top left of the screen, then in the middle is a heading called "Log" and at the top right is a button called "GPS". Double tap on GPS, after a moment it will display your location/address at the top with a map, but you can just ignore all of that and find the "Start" button which is in the middle at the bottom just above the home button. Double tap start and it starts tracking, the start button now turns into a "Stop" button and obviously you will double tap on that when you are done with your walk or run. You can at this point lock the phone, it will continue to work. After you double tap on Stop, the button becomes a "Resume" button so if you stop during your walk because maybe you met somebody and want to chat or you want to sit on a bench somewhere, you can pause Walklog in order to only record the actual time walked. If you now explore the screen you can find the information about your walk like the time and the distance and if you want to save this walk, there is a "Done" button at the top right of the screen. I fyou don't want to save it, you can simply tap "Cancel" at the top left of the screen. Somebody may have done a more detailed review of Walklog, you might want to check on Applevis.
