I have not had Audible problem either, just finished a 17-hour book, The 
Constant Princess by Phillipa Gregory no problems, no crashes.

I think that only a portion of Audible users experienced frequent crashes, I 
fortunately am not one of them and the last couple of versions seem to give me 
little trouble. It's been a while since I remember having the problem where the 
books disappeared from my library and where I had to remove Audible from the 
app switcher and reload it to get them back and the app seems to work well for 
me now. In a way I am usually not very worried about installing a new update if 
all I read is "Bug Fixes" or something similar because I know that this means 
there are no major changes which may cause accessibility problems.

 Yes, I did see that reference to some fixed crashes. And I  suppose that is 
something. But it just seems so generic. Anyway, I did download the app onto my 
old for S. The first time I opened it, it crashed. However, I opened it again, 
and after some time, I got to see my library. Of course this phone is old and 
slow, so I shouldn't expect too much. So far, it's OK. No more crashes.
