I have the same issue with my Plantronics Edge but I just turn the Edge off
and back on and the sound goes back to the ear piece. Luckily, the power
switch on the edge is very easy to use. With my old Blue Ant it would be a
pain to turn it off and back on as that switch is very small

In iOS 8, When I was using a blue tooth earpiece and turned VoiceOver off,
then turned it back on, it would automatically reconnect to the earpiece,
and in the audio I was listening to would stay in the earpiece. In iOS 9,
VoiceOver goes to the speaker, as does music.
Is there a setting I missed somewhere?
