Hello Chuck,

I just updated the TV Guide Mobile app.  I don’t think it’s that the app is now 
buggy so much as it is that the developers are not clear on what VoiceOver 
should announce.  The truth of the matter is that they actually resolved 
several VoiceOver bugs that had been plaguing the previous version.  The 
problem is that they did not maintain VoiceOver integrity in the areas that 
worked fine before.

Last year or so, the developers stopped their public beta testing program.  As 
a result, they have no external feedback during the development process.

I intend to write a VoiceOver bug  report and (1) submit it via the app’s 
built-in feedback system and (2) post it in the review section of iTunes.  I 
urge you and all VoiceOver users, who don’t want to lose access to this very 
important resource, to do the same, ASAP.

By the way, if there is any feature that you can no longer access, please post 
it, on-list, and I’ll do my best to assist.  I have discovered reliable 
workarounds for many of the current VoiceOver issues.

I just updated my TV Guide Mobile app.
I would suggest that all voice over users hold off updating this app until they 
fix the bugs. 
Many things are no longer announced by voice over, and the listings seem to run 
together.
