Hi again, Ron,

I did a bit more investigating and it appears that the Degrees app is no longer
in the app store. One easy way to look for an app you already purchased (even
if it is a common word) is by going to the Updates tab in the App Store on your
phone, then double tap on "Purchased" and do a search there. This will only
search the apps you already purchased. Anyhow, searching for Degrees this way
didn't bring up anything and doing a search for "North Bits" the name of the
developer just on the app store only brought up 1 result and it had nothing to
do with the Degrees app. It appears that the developer has abandoned the app,
maybe it's only temporary, but since I haven't received any replies from him
yet I am afaraid he may have just decided not to support the app any more. I
guess it's time to contact the developer of the Weather Office app and see if
they are interested in implementing some fo the neat features that Degrees had
especially having the temperature of the app icon. Of course with 3D touch
maybe they will do something where you could get a brief summary of basic
weather information by doing a deep press on the app? This will of course still
not benefit all those who haven't bought an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus, but of course
in a couple of years this feature will be available to most people as they
upgrade their phones.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi Ron, The developer of Degrees is “North Bits”. I submitted feedback via the
app twice, on September 25 and 28, but have not received any response. I just
sent another email as a reply to an email the developer sent me last year and
asked him if he stopped supporting the app or what is going on. In the meantime
I installed another Canadian weather app called “Weather Office”, there is a
free, ad-supported version and a paid version. It’s also good, accessible and
not a bad layout, but I always liked the feature of Degrees where you could get
the temperature to show up on the app icon. I’ll let you know if I hear from
the developer. Regards,Sieghard From: [email protected]

Subject: Degrees weather app for Canadian weather help needed Hi, I was having
problems with my Degrees app so I deleted it wnting to re-install it. Now I
can’t find it in the Canadian app store probably due to the fact that Degrees
is a common word and there are over 500 results. Could someone check for me
the developper’s name so I can find it that way? Thanks in advance for your
assistance Ron & Danvers A blind person asked St. Anthony, "Can there be
anything worse than losing eye sight?"He replied, "Yes, losing your vision!"
