I backed it up with 94 dollars, so I hope I can get two of them, if Tomek wil succeed in the project, I feel it is a project that will give us a unique bookscanning stand. I can really recommend this stand and bookscanning attachment. I have seen it, I tested it to give my feedback, and I really love it. Often I take pictures of books, and scan the pictures with the computer afterwards, and it is really great. I am danish and the knfb reader among other ocr programs makes more errors in my language that the computer does, but for taking pictures I really can not recommend this stand enough. We are rapidly loosing our chance to have a book-reading attachment for the Fopydo stand for the blind. The developer took the time and made the effort to offer a modified version of his stand that we can use and he has the book-reader attachment ready to go. He needs our help. He is just a working man like many of are or were and has spent some of his own resources to bring us the stand and I think we owe him some support in helping him to bring his book-reading attachment to market. He has just 6 more days to raise the $4.000 he needs to begin production and only 48 backers so far. If a hundred more people contributed $20, he would be very close to his goal. My wife and I are retired on fixed incomes and we contributed $50 so I don’t think $20 is asking too much.
