*Subject:* The new iPhone - rumours for those who like to hear them

Hi Listers,

I don’t want to start another 50 messages of speculation here, but for
those on the list who are very curious about the new iPhone and iOS 6 I
thought I mention the “Today in iOS” Podcast again. This is a very
informative Podcast which started just before the release of the
original iPhone in 2007 and Rob just released episode 236 last night. In
it he confirms that it is extremely likely that there will be a
September 12 keynote and a September 21 release of the new iPhone. I
don’t say “iPhone 5” because He believes in the strongest possible way
that it will not be called the iPhone 5, he said there is the smallest
chance that maybe it will be called the iPhone 6 since it is the sixth
iPhone (original, 3G, 3GS, 4 and 4S) but he actually believes very much
that just like with the iPad Apple will go away from the numbering
system completely and just call it the “new iPhone”.

Anyhow, there are lots more tit bits of rumours and iOS 6 news along
with tech tips and I think this is one of the best iPhone podcasts
around. It’s a weekly podcast although sometimes there are slightly
longer gaps and sometimes he releases special features, if you search
for “Today in iOS” in your favourite Podcast app you’ll find it.

Regards,

Sieghard
