Hi. Jim, Fleksy has undergone a major update in recent weeks, so it's little wonder the screen you're seeing now is unfamiliar to you. Fortunately you can still access the instructions. When you open the program and hear the message about activating the keyboard, simply do a tap and hold with one finger in the top half of the screen. You will hear a two -note chime, then Fleksy will read out a welcome message and present you with a few options. Flick left and right to cycle through these. Take note that Fleksy functions are now performed with VoiceOver on... No more need to toggle the setting on and off. I hope this helps and that you can get up and running with this terrific app quite soon. I use it for just about all my type -written correspondence, including this email. :) Best, Michelle
