Right.  The issue is only with iOS 9X.
I thought I said that in the original post, but I may not have.

I hope any iOS 9 users that are experiencing this will write them.
And, if you are using iOS 9 and you don't have the issue of it jumping back six 
months or a year, please speak up.  It could be some obscure setting.

Okay!! I don't want to be a spoilic"!, but when I opened the app, the month was 
reading correctly. I added a couple of events to it that are coming up this 
month and next. I'm running 8.4.1 and I'm wondering if it's effecting 9.0.2 
users. Just a thought.
