OK and for when my IPhone 4S arrives, my 3GS was running iOs6.1.3 and
the 4S let's say runs IOs8.4.1 or 9.0.2, what would yo you guys
recommend in that if restoring from ICloud, if they're different IOs
versions, what's the deal with doing these restores?

It depends on what you want todo, honestly. Both will work. If you don’t want
to go through the trouble of getting all your apps and settings back, you will
be able to select “restore from backup”, during the setup process. This is
after you enter your Apple ID and password on the phone. Keep in mind that both
devices must be running the same version of iOS.
