Perhaps not but I'd be curious how support would respond to your concerns.
I've always found then to be quite responsive whenever I've contacted either
via social media or via direct email at the site.

No, Robin, you were right. I have subscribed through my iPhone via iTunes to
tune in premium. I thought that I would go to the website and try to find
the premium thing there. And I did find a button for premium, or a link, but
it didn't do anything when I clicked on it. I was hoping maybe I could link
up that way. So then I thought I would try my phone using the website on the
phone, in case there was some weirdness between my PC and tune in. But I
might just wait the seven days and see if I really want to keep this or not.
They do have a lot of books, and if I could figure out someway to search
categories or something that was more efficient than just flipping randomly
through, that could be an incentive. Otherwise, I do have serious and
radium. So I'm not sure that it's worth the eight bucks a month.

message and found a link for upgrading to premium. But I clicked on it and
nothing happened. So maybe I will try the one you supplied and use my
phone. I had used a PC.

there's a sign up link on this page as well as a sign in link. I don't
know how it'd be done as I subscribed via the web but maybe there's a way
to insure that your subscription is linked to your log in account.
Perhaps a contact to tune in support might be helpful.

I just started a trial of seven days of the premium on my iPhone. When I
got into the account on my iPad, it said I was not subscribe, and I had
to go to my iTunes account, after which, it did say I was subscribed.
This renews each month via the iTunes Store. I was briefly on the tune in
website, and did not see a way to pay for premium subscription there. I
did not look very hard, so I may have missed it.
So I know with my account, if I tried it on my Nexus seven, it's not
going to work. Because my subscription is definitely somehow connected
with iTunes, even though this was not called a "in app subscription."

If it's an in-app purchase, no. If it's a purchase in the App Store
itself, yes. For example me as the organizer and Hannah the adult is
sharing the Now TV for Apple TV subscription on our Apple TV Third
Generation devices.
