Hello Amy, for me it happens when I'm reading large chunks of text. For example, if you have ILike2Read and you have a large text file, just read it for about 5 minutes or more, then choose another document and do the same. Change things around, like you can't decide on which document you want to read. It also happens a lot when I'm reading things in the Storm8 games like World War or Vampires. There can sometimes be a lot of comments on a player's profile and when I read those and many of those comments are multiple lined ones, it can happen. So, all in all, for me it happens in different apps, but the common thing for me is large amounts of text all at once, as if a buffer of some kind is overloaded and things crash. The thing I notice about this, is that many programs are removed from memory after this happens and voice is restored. So some memory leak of some kind happens and it takes down not only the program I a m in, but several other programs which might be in my app switcher as well.

Cheers.

Hello all,

Please forgive the cross-posting, but I have the ear of the
accessibility folks at Apple and want to get as much feedback to give to
the engineer with whom I am working.

For those of you who are experiencing the occasional drop-out with
Voiceover, during which clicks are still heard on the phone but speech
is no longer available for 60 to 90 seconds, please write and let me
know under what circumstances this occurs for you, how often it happens,
what you have done to remedy this, and whether a restore of the phone
has fixed this problem for you. Please feel free to send me about this
directly at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>.

Thanks.
