I know this isn't an actual app which would use a song saved on your phone, but for those of us who have Sonos you can set Sonos alarms and you can select any single song, album, playlist or streaming station from free or paid services to play at a certain time. If you select only one song it would simply play that song and then stop unless you told it to repeat. If you ask it to start a station or playlist, you can tell it to play for a set time, e.g. start at 7 am and play for 30 minutes or 1 hour etc. If you have multiple Sonos players you can also tell it to play on select players, e.g. you can tell it to play in your bedroom and the living room. I sometimes set it to wake me with BBC World News and knowing I want to wake up at 7 am and leave at 8:30 am I set it to play for 90 minutes, then I don't even have to worry about stopping playback, I can just walk out and it will stop at 8:30. Of course, you can set the volume level. Sonos will start softly and increase to the set volume over 5 or 10 seconds. There is also a failsafe if you select an online source in case something happens where your internet connection goes down. If this happens, your alarm will still go off, but just with a preset bonk sound. If, of course, your WiFi goes down then it won't work.
