I agree, but the two finger double tap hasn't always been reliable.
There have been IOS releases when it just didn't work reliably, and I've
had times when it may or may not answer a call but starts playing my
music. Obviously, if there are bugs with the two finger double tap then
they need to be fixed, but having more options would also help.

So, this "feature" will not likely reappear.
In my humble opinion, then Samsung's GalaxyS6Edge & other Samsung
MobilePhones, which utilize "its" HomeButton, provide "its" users an
easier way to Answer&End Calls
Cause you can answer by simply Pressing the HomeButton & Ending the Call
by Pressing the PowerButton
Or, you can Locate the Answer&End Call Icon on the TouchScreen &
DoubleTap it
Or, you can simply Put YourFinger on the TouchScreen & SlideRight to
Answer & Locate the EndCall Icon to End the Call
