We are talking two different apps here, and I've not tried the other. Tempo Perfect only seems to do beats per bar and speed of the bar. So it goes - bop, and a few patters, then bop and a few more patters and so on. 1...2...3...4
I had Drum Beats Plus which has a bunch of percussion tracks you can play to varying speeds and you then get real polyrhythms with that. I was looking for something to play along to in order to practice working in time to someone or something else. I even considered a drum machine I could stop and start at will and use it as sole accompaniment.
