Hi there,
I am very pessimistic about this and it’s based on experience.
This project is stone dead already depending on a couple factors:
1, global availability, it’s probably only available in the States right now
and if it expands beyond that it’s to the ”countries that count” that’s the UK,
Germany, France, China and so on. I don’t think it will make it to Scandinavia.
Secondly it depends apparently on devices people have to set up and i’m sorry
but this isn’t going to happen, not only for disabled or blind folks. If they
can’t use beacons to transfer ads or something to you through your phone, or
anything else that benefits other than disabled people they don’t care about
putting those things up and much less maintain them, why should they, it
doesn’t benefit them. (with ”they” and ”them” in this case i mean people who
have responsibility for shops and other buildings)
/Krister
