Hi do you happen to know the model number of your router?
Also how easy is the router to configure with a screen reader and does
it have A web page to log in to so that you can adjust all of its
settings and how exactly do you log in to the router?
Then if you get the same brand of extender then let say if you have your
router down stairs and you plug in the extender up stairs will it still
boost the signal?
Also how do you configure the extender once you plug it in?
So you get it up and running?

Hello Regina,
I am not a big fan of using ISP routers, wireless or wired.
Because I prefer to use my Windows computer to manage my home network, I use a
Cisco router, combined with a Cisco extender. The extender costs about $20,
from Best Buy and is, of course, wireless.
Because the router and the extender are made by the same company, configuration
between the two devices is virtually automatic.
I have the MODEM and router upstairs and the tiny little extender simply
plugged into an outlet, down stairs. As a consequence, I receive 96%
connection from anywhere in the house.

Off topic but not. I need a device to help boost my wifi. We have a router that
belongs to a cable company. What am I looking for to boost signal, and if
possible any thoughts on the best one? Thanks for the help, and sorry about off
topic. BTW, we have both windows and apple.
