I doubt they charge you for the data connection you basically provide them to rebroadcast. As far as I understood it, they are like mini cell towers that connect back to the carrier's network over the public internet through whatever router you plug it into. I wonder if it would be legal to use something like this on the 8th floor of an apartment building that is kind of effective at reducing the nice 5-bar signal outside in the fresh air to 1 or two inside, depending where in the apartment I am. Would I run into problems if the neighbors phones use it to get on in the sense that a residential person wouldn't normally be pumping 16 calls at a time through, or do their phones work off of their accounts and plan with my Internet being the transport? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan" <[email protected]>
