Hi,

A couple of options come to mind. One would be to change the default account 
for notes to iCloud, rather than Gmail, to see if they're better behaved. 
Another would be to use an "On My iPHone" account for these notes. Then they 
won't sync with anything else, so there's no way they could get duplicated. Go 
to Settings/Notes to change your options.
