Hello Gera, A friend did a group iMessage. Ce was using number from an iPhone, I was using an iPad with email, the third person used email with most likely a phone, and it worked. So that isn't your issue. I would try to go into settings, messages, and get rid of the number. Only leave your email in there as the iMessage contact, in other words.
