Hi Walther,

Are you talking about home screens? If so, you can swipe right to left with 3
fingers to move from home screen 1 to 2, 2 to 3 etc. To go back swipe left to
right. You can also touch just above the dock where you would hear something
like “page 1 of 4” (if you have four home screens) and you can swipe up with
one finger to go from 1 to 2, swipe up again to go from 2 to 3 etc. Swipe down
to go back when focus is on that control.

I suggest you arrange your apps with all the most important and most used apps
on home screen 1. I prefer not to have folders on my first home page just
because as I said, for me this is where all my most used apps are including 4
Apple apps (App Store, Calculator, Camera and Settings) and I want to get to
them as quickly as possible.

Depending on how many apps you have, you can have another page full of apps on
home screen 2 or you could make folders on that page with multiple apps in each
folder, e.g. Utilities, Navigation, Travel etc.

Once again this is just how I do things, I put all Apple stock apps on my last
two home screens, in my case I only have two home screens with home screen 2
having some apps as well as some folders. Home screen 3 has all the Apple stock
apps I may use from time to time like Clock, Notes, Podcasts and so on.

Apple apps I am likely not to use like Game Centre, Tips, Stocks etc. I put on
the very last home page.

Everybody is different in how they like to organize things, others may prefer
to have all apps they don’t use much in a folder. Of course you can also get to
apps like Clock, Calculator or Camera pretty quickly by opening the Control
Centre and then you have them across the bottom of the screen.

Alternatively, and I also use this a lot, you can access apps which aren’t on
your first or second home screen by adding handwriting to the rotor. Then when
y ou are on any home screen, all you have to do is turn the rotor once which
should put it on handwriting, then draw the first letter or two on the screen
and a list of apps appears, you can swipe down through the list with a 2-finger
swipe down. For example, if I want Photos or Podcasts, I can just draw a “P” on
the screen, in my case this will give me the following list of apps:

Paprika (a recipe manager app)

Parcel (a package tracking app)

Phone

Photos

Podcasts

I can quickly swipe down with 2 fingers if I want Photos or Podcasts or I could
also draw an “H” or “O” and all I would have left after the “H” would be
“Phone” and “Photos” and after the “O” only Podcasts would be left. Once I have
only the app left I want or once I swipe down to the app I want I can just
activate it with a double tap. Once you practice this a bit it’s super easy and
super fast and you don’t have to remember on what home screen or in what folder
a particular app is located.

Regards,

Sieghard

Subject: Changing pages on iPhone

Hi all. I was reading the instruction manual in one of my apps and there was
13 pages, how do I change pages in this situation. If the information is on
page 9, I don't want to have to read through the previous 8 pages to find what
I wanted on page 9. So, how do I change pages, I'm using iPhone 6 and 8.41.
Walter.
