The facebook app has gotten better with accessibility, but it can still be a bit buggy. That's more a function of the app and not necessarily anything to do with the phone. Used messanger once or twice and at least the little I played with it, it was accessible. Since you're upgraded, you might as well take the plunge to the various apps. Especially if they're free. You're going to get varying answers for every app depending on people's experience. The worst thing that can happen is you just delete it from your phone.
