I guess that's a possibility. I was just somewhat surprised at the response I received from Apple which in essence said, too bad so sad.
A couple weeks ago I was trying to buy earpods from the online Apple store. I couldn't get the transaction to complete successfully. So I called Apple and was told to try a different browser since IE11 doesn't "always play nice" with the Apple site. I did finally complete my purchase using Safari on my phone, but it seems like shoddy customer service to say the least.
