In the iTunes store, start from the dock where it says music, and flick to the left; will say terms and conditions. Keep on going to the left and you will see redeemed, below purchase. If it doesn't immediately come up, flick to the right, from radio; you will see purchase, then redeem. Double tap on that, and follow the prompts for entering your gift card code. If it's a physical card, be sure to scratch off the one part so that you can read the correct numbers. Hopefully it is in email card, that you can hit a link for to redeem it. Hope this helps.
