Fazil, you are indeed in a sticky situation. Instead of making your phone very difficult--if not impossible--to use, would you consider telling your sighted relatives that they may use it, but if something happens to it, it is a specially-modified phone that is difficult and terribly expensive for you or for them to replace? This maneuver is less devious than going out of your way to make the phone nearly inoperable. Leaving VoiceOver on is a good option since it will allow you to monitor the call or other operation.
