Thank you so much Sherri. I learned something new today about the notification screen. As for not opening the locked screen to the home screen, well, you were probably saying duh! Change can trip one up. I hope your help helps someone else too.

When I want to read the notifications or check the time and don't want the phone to open instantly I just press the home button with a finger other than the one that has my fingerprint registered. If I forget and it opens up I go to the notifications screen and make sure notifications is highlighted. Then I can read through them. Sherrie From: Regina Alvarado Sent: Wednesday, November 18, 2015 12:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: notifications on locked screen and in notifications I have a 6s iPhone running 9.1. When I lock my screen and then tap the home button, from the locked screen it automatically opens to the home screen with my pr'int. I used to need to touch unlock before touching the home button for my fingerprint. Because of this I could quickly read my notifications before I went into my home screen. When I go into my notifications from the home screen they are not there, just the weather and calendar. Can someone explain to me either how to keep the locked screen up to read the notifications or how to have them listed in the notification screen or both, please?
